After Round 1 at Pymble Golf Club rounds 2 and 3 of this event were abandoned due to very heavy rain and course conditions.
Play did actually begin at Pennant Hills but was abandoned after approximately two holes.
It has not been possible to reschedule for 2007.
A decision was made that the event would stand and be reduced to an 18 hole event.
Accordingly the major placegetters in the inaugural North Sydney Senior Championship are:
Joint Winner: Rick Oliver - Young Golf Club
Joint Winner: Paul Day - Wyong Golf Club
Third Place: Denis Dale - Cabramatta Golf Club
Australian Senior Order of Merit points were awarded to all players who had entered for the 3 rounds and who completed the first round at Pymble Golf Course. Any players who withdrew from Pennant Hills before play commenced or who failed to turn up for their tee time was also removed from the Order of Merit points list.
